Website Performance and Hosting

When you are on a WebCare Plan your site hosting, backups, security, domain, and SSL are all included! Also, we take care of all site updates and software updates for you! Your website needs to be kept secure to keep everything running smoothly. We'll review the current security protocols that you have in place, check your backup systems and ensure that everything is in good order.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Can my monthly un-used time roll over to next month?

The amount of time allotted per month (based on your plan) is there to reserve your place in our queue and our resources, similar to a retainer in other business fields, therefore it does not rollover. You can take comfort in the fact that what you request within your allotted amount of time a month will be addressed promptly by our team.

What gets accomplished in the dedicated monthly support time?

Glad you asked! Common requests include content update requests and small design improvements, however, anything that can fit into your monthly support time is free game. We just ask you to keep in mind that requests for new features to your website involving installing a new plugin or a full design could require extra time and expense.

If my site goes down, gets hacked, or breaks, what then?

One of the primary goals of our webcare platform is preventative care, so we hope to prevent anything from happening. However, in the event that your website gets rolled into the ER, we will be there right by its side. We cannot promise your website will not be hacked, but our track record will show that the websites we host almost never get hacked. If your site did get hacked, we promise we will do everything in our power restore it and fortify where it was vulnerable.

What if my website wasn't built by Media Lifeline? Can I still get a webcare plan?

Our webcare plans are for sites we build or re-design. In light of that, we welcome clients who are looking for a long-term relationship with a dedicated webmaster. We have a process for bringing over existing websites that involves a website evaluation and coordination with the customer for any possible improvement to their site.

What if I need more hours?

If you have a task that requires more than your dedicated monthly time, we will either submit a quote for your approval or bill you for the extra hours at our current support rate.

Can I really cancel anytime?

Absolutely. We are all about a helping you with your website needs for your ministry or small business. We strive to build relationships, so we would really hate to see you go. But we do know financial needs weigh into many decisions and don’t want to lock anyone in. You can request a cancellation via email to support@medialifeline.net, and we will immediately stop the next payment.
